Butlers Crochet Teddy Bears came about from a crochet pattern that was given to me by a friend. She received the pattern from an acquaintance that was serving a prison sentence (where Martha Stewart served her sentence). I thought the bears were very unique and I loved making them and giving them as gifts.

It is rewarding to give one of my bears to a child and watch their delight in receiving one. I have named my bears Billy, Betty, Becky, Bobby and Baby. But, sometimes I will hear that the teddy bear has been renamed, so when you purchase your Butler’s Bear send me an e-mail on your bears’ new name.
