Crochet Afghans - Yarn Types and Colors for Crochet Teddy Bears and Afghans

The pattern for the diamond afghans came from a woman who just celebrated her 96th birthday. Her dream is to have someone continue crocheting her design. To honor her, the pattern will continue to be crocheted and enjoyed.

There a several variations to the diamond pattern which make each afghan unique. Each afghan will be custom made to your special order according to the size, colors and diamond pattern.

The pink afghan pattern is a shell design with scalloped edges. The pattern gives the appearance the blanket is double-layered. This pattern makes a beautiful baby blanket or a small lap afghan.

The multi-colored afghan is a single crochet stitch done in the back loop only. I worked this pattern in a soft bulky yarn. It made a large sized afghan that is very soft and comfortable to wrap up in.
